Gta Iv Crashes After Installing Mods

Hi, What you computer config? Try a chkdsk. How old is your gear? Get any problems with other games? What you mean my computer config? Whats a chkdsk? Less than 3 weeks No Config = Specs/specifications/list of parts.

May 1, 2012 - Re-install, Re-Download, delete all mods and trying to find the original files from Gta IV. I'd try this (from the PC Gaming Wiki, GTA IV article). The Rockstar Social club login pops up, but after you sign in, or go offline, the game fails to start. I'd also try installing XLiveLess, if the above doesn't work. May 6, 2015 - Real Cars is a totalconversion mod for Grand Theft Auto IV that replases all cars. The game could be unstable with the mod and that it could crash sometimes. Install the mod after a clean install of GTA 4 and it's updates.

Chkdisk: Intel core i5 3470 @ 3.2Ghz 8Gb Corsair Vengeance RAM VTX3D Radeon HD 2GB 7870 Black Edition Just ran Chkdsk and a black box popped up,ran some tests it looked like and closed itself PSU make and model? Dont know what my PSU has to do with the game crashing but Cooler Master GX 550w. Did you buy through STEAM? If so, then use the VERIFY feature (Detailed Mode->Right-Click GTA4->Properties->Local Files-> 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache' If NOT through Steam, then confirm: 1) Game is updated to latest 2) your VIDEO drivers are latest 3) Motherboard Drivers (mainly MAIN CHIPSET) were installed (reinstall if unsure) (I gave up trying to play GTA4.

It runs poorly even on my GTX680/i7-3770K/16GB system. It's got port issues but shouldn't be crashing). *If none of this helps, try Googling 'GTA 4 crashing'; I just don't have more time. I bought it through steam and verified,1st thing i did,i researched online and there are no real answer, just guesses and all fail to fix the solution EDIT: Deleted,Re-downloaded and reinstalled, did the above and it seems to work for now, hopefully no more crashing.

So i have this problem which is driving me crazy, because it has never happened before. The problem is that when i install (adding cars with add-on method) cars in the game, after the installation, i try to start the game in story mode like always, but this time i get an error while the loading screen to the story mode, wich says ' ERR_MEM_MULTIALLOC_FREE'. Old First to say, i have no problem with the RAM, i have the original GTA V, and after all, my PC it's not bad. These are my specs: Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz RAM: 8.0 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 Video Card 2: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10, 64-bit I was researching about wtf is happening, and this is my conclusion: After do tests on OpenIV, adding and removing files, i realized that the problem is in the files ' dlclist.xml' and ' extratitleupdatedata.meta', wich both are modified in order to add a new car with add-on method.

If i delete the car mod texts in there, like switching back to the originally file, the game run perfectly, but if not, the error appears. But i still don't know wich is the problem, so please if there's someone who knows how to fix please reply me, thanks!

Or just try to find a solution here! You don't need any modifications in extratitleupdatedata.meta for addon cars you download from this (or any other mod site) so that can stay as the original file. A lot of mods tell you to add lines to it but it's just not necessary.

You might want to check out this gameconfig.xml mod: which will add the required changes to use more addons. Make sure you choose the version for the amount of traffic you want, he includes several versions that alter traffic density. I use the default vanilla density. Other than that, how many lines are you adding to dlclist.xml?
