Most motorola HTs are not broken down by model number. The Saber is a prime example. One model number gives several splits. Actually the first part of the statemenet is incorrect. They all are broken down, but older models usually usually designated the difference between bands ie VHF Low, VHF, UHF, etc, but also type, power level and some features.
