I learned about the loosening grip screws myself when I went to the range yesterday. It actually cut my trip a bit short as I didn't bring the allen wrench needed to tighten them back down. I believe that the grips don't need to be messed with much at all, so cleaning up the threads and hitting them with some purple loctite would do the trick in keeping them secured. Click to expand.I wouldn't let someone on the Sig forum (of which I've been a member of too) talk you out of a gun because their grip screws came loose. It's a bit huge non issue as a spot of Loctite will fix that if it starts happening to you.

And I've has sights shoot loose on my P220 MSE and Sig fixed them for me no charge. I had a P220 dark elite with similar adjustable sights as I believe are on the Dark Elite and shot it for many thousands of rounds before selling it and I never had the sights shoot loose.
