Help Atomic CR:412 Bindings 17 Oct 2004 01:23:25 Telus Help Atomic CR:412 Bindings Hi: I'm hoping someone can help me out. I just purchase a set of Atomic Skis with CR:412 bindings at a ski swap.

I need to move the bindings to match my boots. The binding attached to a plate on the ski with pre-drilled hole in various locations for mounting the bindings.

Standard answer: Take 'em to a qualified ski tech and have the work done. It'll cost about 20 to 30 bucks, far cheaper than the deductable on your insurance. Don't try to do it yourself.

The same applies to the skiing (at least in my case) - I have as much fun researching the product, trying different types, and working on it as I have using it.

Well, this still doesn't answer the main question: how to move the binding to match the boots. The old days the front of the boot was to be at the weight center of the ski (for standard skiing position; powder, etc will differ). You then place the back binding to properly fit the boot. Your front is already done; just move the back. With the plate this should be just a snap.
